A natural satellite, (planet name) (number it was discovered), most commonly a moon is, in the most common usage, a celestial body that orbits a planet or minor planet (or sometimes another small Solar System body). Examples of moons are Luna, Ganymede, Titan and Callisto. Most moons are formed after a collision, like our own moon, but others are formed other ways.
